ISLAMABAD — Pakistani military claimed on Tuesday to have killed 15 terrorists in an operation in the Zhob district of the country’s southwest Balochistan province.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan army, said in a statement that an intelligence-based operation was conducted on Tuesday in the Sambaza area of Zhob.
During the operation, the troops killed 15 terrorists, said the ISPR, adding that a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the site.
The military added that a soldier was also killed in the operation.
According to the ISPR, a clearance operation has started to neutralize any other terrorists present in the area.
